DOG at Abilene State Park

Abilene State Park welcomes LSDOS as we endeavor to start a new chapter.  The park has generously offered to wave entrance and camping fees for this event for all Dutch Oven cooks.  For camping reservations, call the park directly at 325-572-3204.  When you arrive, tell folks at the gate you are with LSDOS.  We’ve had a lot of interest in starting a new LSDOS chapter expressed on our Facebook page.  We encourage folks who are interested in starting this new chapter to attend even if they don’t have Dutch ovens or equipment.  LSDOS members will be cooking and demonstrating Dutch oven cooking and meet with those who are interested in starting a LSDOS chapter.   For more info email robin.clute@gmail.com.
